Google Drive

Link a client’s Documents page to a Google Drive folder. Files, renames, moves, and deletes sync both ways.

Your team already saves statements to a client’s folder in Drive. Link that folder to a client in Kerdora, and both places stay in step without anyone uploading a file twice.

What you get

  • Sync in both directions. Add, rename, move, or delete a file in either place, and the other catches up, usually within a few minutes. For an update right away, select Sync now.

  • Files Kerdora can read. Kerdora reads each file that arrives from Drive, and reads it again when someone edits it there, same as an upload.

  • Shared drives work. Link a folder in My Drive, Shared with me, or a shared drive. A shared drive works best, because your firm owns its files and another advisor can relink a folder if your access ends.

  • Deletes you can undo. A file you delete in Kerdora goes to your Drive trash, where you can restore it for 30 days.

Good to know

  • Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides come into Kerdora as PDFs (Sheets as Excel files). Edit them in Drive.

  • Word documents stay in Drive and don’t copy into Kerdora.

  • If a file changes in both places before a sync, Drive’s version wins.

Set it up

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and connect Google Drive. Google asks for access to your Drive files, and Kerdora only opens folders you link.

  2. Open a client’s Documents page and select Link Google Drive.

  3. Pick a folder and select Link. Kerdora copies files both ways and shows how many moved in each direction.

Unlinking a folder stops syncing and doesn’t delete anything on either side.
