What's in a name?
Everything we do.
I wanted a name that actually meant something and reflected what our platform helps people do.
I’ve been sober for years, and there are two sayings in recovery that have always stayed with me:
Seek progress, not perfection.
One day at a time.
Those two ideas have shaped how I see everything — money, work, and life itself.
The name Kerdora embodies that philosophy. It comes from two ancient words:
kerdos, meaning “gain” or “profit,”
ora, meaning “time.”
Together, they mean to improve over time.
That’s what I believe financial planning — and life — is really about. Not chasing perfection, but getting a little better, a little clearer, and a little more intentional, day by day. My hope is that Kerdora becomes a platform that enables that journey for both you, the advisor, and your clients.
Kerdos / ker-dohs /
to gain or profit
A Greek term representing growth, gain, or advantage — not just financially, but in any meaningful pursuit.
Ora / or-uh /
time
From Latin, meaning “hour” or “time.” It speaks to the flow and rhythm of progress.
Kerdora / ker-dor-uh /
to improve over time
Formed from Kerdos (gain) and Ora (time). It reflects steady, intentional improvement — the essence of real financial planning and growth.

Our logo means something too
Our logo carries the same philosophy. The rising lines, tilted upward and to the right, represent growth, progress, and steady improvement.
But nothing in life is guaranteed. The lines extend both above and below to recognize uncertainty and the full range of outcomes we all face along the way.

Hi I'm Taylor.
As a kid I dreamed of playing on the PGA Tour and then retiring to be a financial advisor for all of my fellow golf pros. One of those didn't happen.
I've been chasing my dream of being a financial advisor full-time since 2016. I started out working for an independent RIA and insurance agency working primarily with retirees. In 2022, I started my own RIA, Ataroke Wealth, to provide flat-fee and hourly planning for primarily younger folks who the AUM model didn't make much sense for.
I never asked to get into the software world. I'm just very impatient.
Existing planning tools were either really cool tech that didn't solve a real problem, or really nerdy calculators that clients didn't care about. Neither helped me actually serve clients. So I started building my own. Then I found out my fellow advisor friends had the same problem, so I started sharing my tools.
Kerdora is the "masterpiece" of these tools.
My purpose in life is helping people make better financial decisions. While I love doing this one-on-one with clients, if I can help other advisors like you help other people, then nothing would make me happier.
