Why we called it "Guides"

We didn't start with the name. We started with a question: what does this feature actually do?

It helps advisors accomplish the two core missions of Kerdora:

  1. Help clients understand their financial life

  2. Help clients know what to do next

A guide accomplishes this. Not a dashboard. Not a snapshot. A guide.

A dashboard is something you glance at. A snapshot is a moment in time. But a guide has a job. The concept is useful and intentional, meeting clients where they are and highlighting what truly matters.

The feature offers considerable flexibility to match diverse client needs. A guide can function as an explainer, step-by-step plan, visual overview, or tactical checklist. This versatility matters because different clients require different approaches.

The nomenclature also works naturally in client conversations:

  • "Check your main guide"

  • "Go to your liquidity guide"

  • "Take a look at your Q4 review guide"

The language feels authentic and immediately communicates purpose to clients.

The naming choice reflects practical usability rather than marketing appeal. The term sounds right in real client interactions, not just in product meetings.
