Kerdora Launches Dora: The AI Planning Agent That Lives Inside the Client Plan
Kerdora today launched Dora, an AI planning agent built directly into its financial planning platform, designed to make advisors better, not just faster.
Dora works with the full client plan: profile data, documents, connected accounts, holdings, transactions, cash flows, Guide content, and open tasks. That means an advisor can ask Dora to look for Roth conversion opportunities for the year, draft the recommendation, assign it to the client as a task through the Kerdora client portal, and track whether it gets done, all in one conversation. The same conversation can update beneficiaries, prepare a meeting agenda, or generate a section of a client-facing Guide.
“Dora is the assistant I wanted in my own planning practice,” said Taylor Stewart, founder of Kerdora. “I didn’t want another chatbot sitting in another tab. I wanted something that could understand the client’s financial life, help me think through the work, and then help me actually move the plan forward.”
With Dora, advisors can move from messy client input to reviewed planning work in a single flow:
Catch missed opportunities. Surface strategies, deadlines, gaps, risks, and inconsistencies across the full client picture.
Extract from anything. Pull data from tax returns, statements, transcripts, screenshots, spreadsheets, or prior plans straight into the plan.
Update the plan in plain English. Edit goals, assumptions, assets, liabilities, income, expenses, insurance, and estate details conversationally.
Run the numbers on the real client. Analyze spending, model planning changes, and run Kerdora’s calculators without rebuilding context.
Prepare client-ready work. Draft Guide sections, client explanations, meeting agendas, and follow-up communication in the advisor’s voice.
Turn recommendations into tasks. Assign follow-up work to clients through the portal and track follow-through.
Dora builds on Kerdora’s earlier AI features, including the Document Extractor and Guides Generator, and brings them into a single conversational interface connected to the entire plan. Together with the Kerdora client portal, that creates one workspace where documents come in, the plan gets built, recommendations go out as client tasks, and follow-through gets tracked.
Every Dora action requires advisor approval before it reaches the client or becomes part of the plan. Dora drafts, suggests, and prepares. The advisor decides what becomes real.
Kerdora operates under Zero Data Retention agreements with its AI providers, so client information processed by Dora is not retained for model training or future use. The platform includes advisor approval workflows, granular data controls, and a SOC 2 audit currently underway.
For advisors, the result is less time hunting for data, fewer tools to manage, and more time on the planning conversations that actually move clients forward.
Dora is available to all Kerdora customers starting today. Current customers can log in and start using Dora now. Advisors who want to see it in action can book a demo at kerdora.com.
